Earlier this year Ben Cooper (aka Radical Face, and half of Electric President) came up with a cool idea to take songs that didn’t quite fit onto his records and put them all on one record called “Patients”. Then he burned 100 copies and asked people to send him things, books, photos, other cds, whatever and he sent copies of Patients out to the first 100 people. As the title of this post implies I like to see where the magic comes from some times, I guess the Doolittle Demos have been floating about for a while, but this is the first time I’ve found them. They’re a little different but not too much from the final product, a little more ad-libbing from Black Francis it seems. Enjoy!
